I decided to try this brand with what will be my most frequent go to - for eggs and for single serve cooking. My husband is vegan and I'm not ;-) I bought it with the lid, and it was obvious right out of the box that this pan and lid are of tremendous quality. The non stick is perfect, the clean up is as easy as it gets, and the lid was amazing for melting a piece of cheese on that egg in no time. It's heavy, thick glass that can withstand 425 degrees F, and it's a perfect fit for the pan with a vent hole. I'm trying to minimize plastic, PFAS, and Teflon in general as I get older and have less resilience to toxic materials. My bet is that in 30 years, if I make it that long, the kids will be fighting over this one!
